If you’re spending time creating and sharing blog articles, it’s important to understand how many people are reading them, and what traffic sources are generating traffic to your blog. Watch this short video on how to use Google Analytics to find out.
To see how many Pageviews each page of your website is getting, including your blog articles, login to Google Analytics and go to Behaviour in the left hand column, then Site Content and All Pages.
This screen shows the pages of your website with their stats, including the number of Pageviews (which is, as it says, the number of times the page has been viewed), Unique Pageviews (which is a view of the page by a unique individual – or device) and the Average Time on Page.
This will give you an indication of which pages are the most, and least popular.
Watch the video for more tips, including how to find out what traffic source/medium is bringing visitors to your blog articles.
