Sigh….A bit of work to be done for me here too. I don’t like how my website looks on mobile so I guess others don’t too. Question – mobile refers to all mobile devices right? Including tablets? I’m never sure if they could since they seem to show your site almost like it is on a PC.

      Hi Tracey
Thanks for your comment. Google Analytics will split your traffic into Mobile, Desktop and Tablet.
I’ve had a look at your website on an iPhone and it is mobile friendly, I like that I don’t have to “pinch and squeeze” in order to resize the text to read it.
      Cheers
      Mel

I am still unsure what to do with my website. I don’t like the way that responsible sites change the layout on my iPhone, so I have gone with the old fashioned type for now. I would rather double tap a page for the text to fit, than see that they have changed the website layout. I am probably in the minority though haha so a review is a coming!

      Hey Serena
Is it the change to the one column layout that you don’t like?
I must admit that the more I look at mobile friendly sites, the more I don’t want to “pinch and squeeze” anymore. You’ve got to be happy with whatever you decide though.

Hi Mel, I’m always learning something from you. I don’t usually pay attention to the desktop/mobile/tablet part of GA! I’ve just changed themes and it’s responsive, and I’m happy … not much of a fan of pinch and squeeze, although most mobile-friendly themes are pretty generic and ugly (so you have a point, Serena)

Thanks for stopping by Erin, I’m glad you found the vid helpful.
A responsive theme is definitely a good way to go when updating your website.
